The Second New Jersey District, Fourth Degree Annual Exemplification of the Fourth Degree and Banquet will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2022 aboard the USS Battleship New Jersey moored at the Camden Yards in Camden, 62 Battleship way, Camden, New Jersey from 12:00 p.m. Noon Mass to 9:30 p.m. The event is to welcome new members into the Patriotic Principle of the Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus Order. The men will be knighted into the level of Sir Knight and a banquet to celebrate their final journey into FULL KNIGHTHOOD!
Early registration will begin at 10:48 a.m. prior to the Mass and again after the 12:00 noon Mass. No Candidate will register alone. They must be accompanied by either the Faithful Navigator or the Faithful Comptroller or designate. Please bring them as a group so that we do not lose any new member. There will be men aboard to help guide you through the process.
The dress code for a Candidate is as follows: Black, Dark Gray or Dark Blue Suit, white shirt with a laydown collar, black tie or a Tuxedo Kit with the white laydown collar, Bow tie and cummerbund, with no vests as per the Rules and By-Laws Manual. Attending Members: Uniform is preferred, and the same as a candidate except wear your Social Baldric unless in the Color Corps then wear the Service Baldric.
Fee for the Exemplification Candidate is $70.00 cover the fees. A Form-4 with an accompanying Assembly check to cover said Candidate fees. Checks are to be made out to: John W. Brandon District Master and in the note write Candidate Fee. Assemblies are responsible for the fee for the Priest candidates. Please send the Form_4s along with the Assembly check to:

We have a minimum of 200 place settings for attendees for the Dinner and a Maximum of seating capacity of 350 dinner attendees, so the candidates and dignitaries come first, then the membership. If you do not have any candidates and there is no more room, you will be turned away with the assembly check in return. Guest dinners are $80.00 per guest. Mass will be on the forward deck and the Exemplification and Dinner will be held on the Aft.
As is the custom of our Order, we will be distributing a Souvenir Ad Journal to all attending the Banquet. We ask for your assistance in securing an Ad from your Assembly, Council and Businesses for the Journal as a way of showing support for the Second District of New Jersey Fourth Degree and its newest members!
Our Honoree will be Sir Knight Christopher A. Tomasello Sr., Former Master. FM Tomasello has been very patient allowing the District to honor others who during the pandemic passed away or took over as a State Officer and retiring from a Supreme position. It is his time, so let us rally around him and support this Exemplification and Banquet!

Let’s show our support by making this the best Exemplification and Ad Journal yet. Ask your local Councils, businesses and friends for their support by advertising in this Journal which will be seen by an extremely large crowd. Checks to be made out to: John W. Brandon District Master and in the note write Ad Journal.
Dinner Reservation forms are in a separate attachment detailing the cost, location and other pertinent information. Follow the information/instructions on that form and you will send the Form and Assembly checks to: SK Gary Seals, District Dinner Reservation Chairman. Checks made out to John W. Brandon District Master and in the note write Dinner.
An Added BONUS: If your Assembly, Council or individual wishes to fire the 5” cannon from 10:00 am to 10:00 p.m. as per our permit. The money collected will go toward the repair and maintenance of the new teak flooring being installed, which is in need of replacement since it is the original teak decking. The other $50.00 will go towards paying towards the cost of the Candidate Dinner Costs. Checks should be made out to: John W. Brandon District Master and in the note area write Cannon
All incoming checks for the Ads, Candidate fees or dinners should come to the ASSEMBLY or COUNCILS first and then write the checks to the Master.
