Brother Knights,
Greetings and welcome to the Membership section of the New Jersey State Council of the Knights of Columbus. Great time and effort has been taken to make this website as easy to navigate as possible. Any and all questions that you might have concerning New Jersey and the Knights should be available as you move forward.
Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to all practical Catholic men who are in union with the Holy See and at least 18 years of age. Today the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic service organization. Our commitment extends to our Church, our Clergy, our Families and our Communities. As Knights we not only act on faith, we act because of it. We are men committed to reaching out and helping those of us who cannot help themselves. A strong foundation fosters a strong commitment, Our foundation was set by the now Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven Connecticut back in 1882. Father MvGivney’s hope was to unite men in their faith and provide for their families in time of need. Following the four pillars of our Order…Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism, we have grown in ways that I’m sure Fr. McGiivney could not have imagined.
It has never been easier to become a Knight. Simply go to www.kofc.org/joinus. Once there you can learn more about the Order and if ready, join online. As an incentive, for those joining between now and June 30, 2022, Supreme will waive all dues for the first year. It’s that easy.
Remember that our Membership goals run hand-in-hand with our Programs. Under the guidance of our General Program Director, Frank Brandis, the State has many solid programs for you to take advantage of. Programs will bring in new members and new members will look at these programs and want to be a part of them. If you have any questions concerning membership in the New Jersey Knights of Columbus, please feel free to reach out to either myself or any member of the team. We are here to serve you. Vivat Jesus
Fraternally,
State Membership Director
